7-8 and Alexander might want to walk classes over to the. Art teachers feel free to bring sketch books with your classes. Several teachers have brought notebooks and used the event as a writing experience as well. Poetry, stories, and authentic writings can come from listening to the music. Mr. Sharp does a great job of educating the audience in the history of jazz as well as what to listen for.
The evening performance at 7:00pm will feature a Latin Jazz Extravaganza! Fermina Garcia and several of her dance students will be dancing. Their will be a charge for the evening performance. $5 for adults and $3 for students.
